Review: ‘Grey’ by E. L. James

5 ‘Grey’ Stars!

So, yes. Not sorry about it, it was delightful to be inside Christian’s mind! What can I say? Fifty Shades has a special place in my heart because it was one of my first “Erotica” series (even though I don’t remember exactly if it was THE first erotic book for me..).

Whatever. I know this is not (obviously) the best writing but I really like the plot and the characters (especially Christian because Anna sometimes got on my nerves with the ‘inner goddess’ thing LOL).

Reading Grey is reading Fifty Shades of Grey from Christian’s perspective. It is exactly THAT. The same story but not the same book. Let me explain: for me, reading Grey has been a good experience because in this book we are able to read and to begin to understand what Christian Grey has been through, all his life. We can see not only how he falls for Anastacia Steele but also, through his nightmares, we see memories from his childhood. And at the end, it is beautiful to see how he finally accepts loving Ana.

I am excited and prepared if E. L. James decides to write the other books of the trilogy from his point of view!!

So, if you liked Fifty Shades of Grey and you want to know more about the extraordinary Christian Grey, you will not regret reading this!
