Review: ‘All the King’s Men’ Duet by Kennedy Ryan

450246514.5 ‘The Girl Who Chases Stars’ Stars!

I’ve been wanting to read the All the King’s Men Duet for a while now (I had to wait until I did not have any ARCs to read lol). This has been highly loved by the book community and I completely understand why. Kennedy Ryan is so talented and this romance novel is so completely unique. Yes, the romance is so beautiful, emtional and explosive but the messages all over The Kingmaker are what makes this such a powerful and intense read.

This book made me think, made me feel and made me connect with Lennix and Maxim in a very strong way. These two are outstanding deep characters and their love story is addicting! Now, if you excuse me, I have to go start The Rebel King right this second because this ended in a very crazy cliffhanger and I need to know what in the hell will happen next. Gah, I cannot wait!

5 ‘Blaze your own trail’ Stars!

WOW. Just W-O-W. You want to know why Kennedy Ryan won the RITA award last year? Read this amazing duet. This woman is so unique and so just freaking talented. After that cliffhanger in The Kingmaker, I could not wait to read what would happen next in Nix and Maxim’s lives. Things got even more intense and things definitely got difficult and emotional for these two and the people around them. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll just say this was an outstanding duet and Kennedy did a fantastic job with the love story and all the important themes involved in it.

Of course, the best thing about the All the King’s Men Duet are Lennix and Maxim themselves, they want to change the world and they are so deep in everything they want to achieve. And their chemistry is out of this world, it burns the pages! I got addicted and I could not stop reading. I loved this novel, I loved these characters, I loved the romance, I loved the themes that Kennedy integrated into this and I loved how everything was written. Well done to this talented AF woman! Highly, HIGHLY recommend reading this epic duet!
