Giana Darling stole my heart completely as soon as I finished reading the first book of her Fallen Men series. So, I thought I knew what I was getting myself into when I started her upcoming duet but boy… was I wrong! Giana took it to another level with this age-gap, enemies-to-lovers, guardian-ward forbidden romance. You see all the taboo aspects in this story, right? Well, that is what makes it such a wonderful roller coaster. And trust me when I say, you don’t want to miss meeting these characters and learn about their lives.
So, Dangerous Temptation is the first installment in Giana Darling’s Bad Dream duet and it’s the story of Bianca Belcante and Tiernan Morelli. Bianca meets Tiernan as her mother’s latest shady boyfriend and they hate each other at first sight. Months later, Bianca’s mother suddenly dies, and Bianca is left alone to take care of her little brother Brandon. Enter Tiernan, the black sheep of the Morelli family who has in mind to take down the bastard children of his father’s enemy. But it’s not that easy when both characters start to feel more than hate for each other. What happens when burning, forbidden chemistry is impossible to stop? What happens when tender feelings arise between Bianca, Tiernan and Brandon? What happens when other people get in the way and truth starts to reveal itself?
Much like the chaotic mix of painful pleasure he had eked out of me, Tiernan was becoming a dangerous temptation I was less and less certain I could avoid.
You know those stories about broken people that you never expect they will work together? Dangerous Temptation is one of those stories. Bianca and Tiernan are literal opposites. She is light and he is darkness. She is all love and he is the product of a life full of hate. But you know what? These two are unexpectedly good together. When all the hate is left aside, what is left is two broken people who need love in their lives. And that is what they find together with Brandon and the family they start to create in Lion Court. Obviously, let’s not forget to mention THAT CHEMISTRY. ‘Cause baby.. these two are FIRE. I mean, I am not surprised since Giana is veeeeeery good with that, but she takes it to a next level with the kinkiness in this one! Together with all the drama, darkness and suspense in the story, you will be at the edge of your seat in the end. And it’s left in a cliffhanger so bear with me because I think we all are impatiently waiting for the second part of this duet!

Therefore, I am rating Dangerous Temptation with 4 STARS because it’s a unique dark romance with unexpected twists, a whole lot of forbidden aspects and, at times, surprising tenderness. You will fall in love with Bianca, Tiernan and Brandon, of that I am sure! Their story is full of contrasts but still it all comes down to love and finding that person that changes everything. You can turn a bad boy into a loving one. You can find happiness after so many losses. That is what Tiernan and Bianca have, and I am oh-so-ready to see what happens with them after that freaking cliffhanger! Giana give us the next book yesterday!!
