Juniper Hill by Devney Perry is now live!
Memphis Ward arrives in Quincy, Montana, on the fifth worst day of her life. She needs a shower. She needs a snack. She needs some sanity. Because moving across the country with her newborn baby is by far the craziest thing she’s ever done.
But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life. If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, she’ll do it if it means a better future for her son. Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life.
Even if it requires working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn and living in an apartment above a garage.
It’s there, on the fifth worst day of her life, that she meets the handsomest man she’s ever laid eyes on. Knox Eden is a beautiful, sinful dream, a chef and her temporary landlord. With his sharp, stubbled jaw and tattooed arms, he’s raw and rugged and everything she’s never had–and never will.
Because after the first worst day of her life, Memphis learned a good life requires giving up on her dreams too. And a man like Knox Eden will only ever be a dream.

Such a good start to 2022! I am always happy to start the year reading and this one was no exception. I was even more excited because I started it with a book that I was highly anticipating from the one and only Devney Perry. You know the Eden family, right? Devney introduced this amazing family to us last year and I was eager to get back to Quincy! I mean, who was not curious to see the sexy and solitary chef in the family finally fall in love? ‘Cause I was! And Devney definitely delivered!
So, Juniper Hill is the second installment in The Edens series and, as I mentioned, it focuses on Knox Eden, the chef of Knuckles, the restaurant inside the inn owned by the Eden family. Enter Memphis Ward and her adorable newborn baby. She is the new housekeeper and she is full of mystery. She also happens to be Knox’s new tenant and he is not happy about it. But there is a crazy amount of chemistry between the secretive housekeeper and the tattooed chef. So, what will happen when those sparks fly? Will love win or are there too many obstacles between Knox and Memphis?
What did I want? Did it even matter? I couldn’t afford dreams for myself.
And Knox… he was a dream.
Devney is one of the best when it comes to small town romance and she is killing it with her newest series! I was so excited to read more about Quincy and the Edens and I was not disappointed with how Devney developed Knox’s love story. We see two people who have secrets, who have gone through some pretty difficult moments, find their way to each other and it was beautiful to read. I love how protective Knox is of Memphis and little Drake and how they become a family so quickly because that connection is impossible to miss. I loved the interactions with the whole family and the suspense aspects in the story and of course, I loved the ending.
“I’m going to take them. I’m going to take all of your bests. Every damn one until you can’t keep track of the top five anymore because there are so many bests that you’ll need a hundred to capture them all.”
Therefore, I am rating Juniper Hill with 4 STARS because it was a very good continuation of The Edens series and the perfect happy ending for Knox and Memphis. I loved the connection between this couple, I loved their interactions with Drake and how they become a family together with the Edens. I cannot wait to read more about this crew, and I am definitely excited for Tania’s story after that teaser towards the end! I am sure Devney will continue to give us more amazing stories from this series!
