No one can ever have Keaton Meyer.

Least of all me.

The brooding construction manager is a man of myth and legend, rarely seen in the wild. Once upon a time, he was the star quarterback, the smiling homecoming king, royalty in our small town. Until tragedy struck. And then he disappeared completely.

Now he’s resurfaced, and I can’t keep my eyes off him.

He’s an island surrounded by lava, bound by a desert and guarded by dragons. I don’t stand a sunshine’s chance in a hail storm.

Our siblings disagree and are out to prove it, nudging us into each other in the hopes we’ll fall. But with our town in tumult and the two of us firmly in the middle, nothing between us is easy. And when he’s faced with an impossible decision, I learn the truth of what I already knew.

No one can have Keaton Meyer.

And I have the broken heart to prove it.

Review

4.5 ‘A new story’ Stars!

We are adding a new love story for the Blum sisters and it was just as good as the first one! Did I doubt that? Not for a single second because Staci Hart is giving us her best game at small town romances. The woman is doing a great job with her new series, focused on a Texas town and a honey farm owned by a mother and her three daughters. It was now time for Daisy and, of course, she lives a sweet and delicious love story you cannot miss!

So, On the Honey Side is the second installment in Staci’s Blum’s Bees series and it tells the story of Daisy Blum and Keaton Meyers. Both remember their painful past experiences with love, and especially Keaton is afraid to act on his attraction to Daisy. But what happens when they are forced to join forces and start a new construction project for the homeless people they have in their town? Those sparks are impossible to stop. A powerful connection starts between these two and they are not ready to fall head over heels in love all over again. Or is it that this time they found their one true love?

He was as I knew him to be— strong, stoic, dark. But there was something alive in him, like the bright edge of an eclipse that promised the sun would shine again.

As I said, I am not surprised because I knew Staci Hart would give us a wonderful love story for the next Blum sister. Daisy and Keaton are such incredible characters and I loved their interactions as friends, as a couple and together with their families. Their feelings for one another are so incredibly sweet and their chemistry.. trust me, it does not disappoint! This novel is also full of banter and emotions and I loved every second of reading it. So glad to be back with these characters and revisiting other ones we loved so much. And of course, I am always a happy girl when the couple gets a much-deserved happy ending!

I’d never felt such a feeling from something that made me so happy. And I’d never known that I would crave that ache all day, every day, even when she was in my arms.

Therefore, I am rating On the Honey Side with 4.5 STARS because I really enjoyed this new small-town romance in the series, with a couple so connected and with such sugary sweet and delightful moments between them. You know I also loved all the family interactions, it’s always so fun to have such a long list of amazing secondary characters! And that has me more than ready (and curious!) for the next and final installment in the series. I cannot wait to read Poppy’s story!

The Author

StaciHartStaci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that.

She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey.

When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
