I was never supposed to see him again. 𝐻𝑖𝑚 being the man wearing the perfectly tailored suit who oozed an intoxicating mixture of wealth, rebellion, and sex appeal.

One night.
No strings.
No names.
𝐺𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡 sex.

Still riding the high from last night, I walk in to meet my new client, and he’s wearing that same dangerous smirk that reeled me in hours ago.

Yes, I’m consulting for Callahan Sharpe. And 𝑦𝑒𝑠, he’s 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 Callahan Sharpe.

Billionaire heir apparent who abides by no rules, bucks convention, and is determined to complete one final project to honor his late father’s legacy before walking away from the family business for good. Luckily and unluckily for me, I’ve been tasked to go to the Virgin Islands to help accomplish his goal. Callahan has no problem breaking his company’s no fraternization rule, but not me. There’s too much at stake.

Review

5 ‘What’s in it for me?’ Stars!

ARC provided via Valentine PR in exchange for an honest review.

K. Bromberg comes back with a new series and she is starting with a bang! Not that I am surprised because this woman’s writing is my own brand of heroin. Her stories are just THAT addicting. So, she starts this series introducing three gorgeous twin brothers (yes, you read that correctly, THREE identical twins) that will drive us crazy with lust. I already know the first one has stolen my heart and the heroine’s too. Smart, sexy and full of emotions, get ready for Last Resort and the addicting start to Kristy’s brand-new series!

As I said, Last Resort is the first installment in Bromberg’s new series called S.I.N. And this one is focused on the younger Sharpe twin, Callahan Sharpe. Enter Sutton Pierce. Sutton is going through some changes and she feels ready for them after having the best sex of her life with a complete stranger. But what happens when your new job (that can help you win the promotion you’ve been waiting for) is in danger because your new boss happens to be the stranger you met the night before? Will Sutton and Callahan be able to resist this forbidden connection that seems impossible to ignore or will other feelings start getting in the way?

Staring at her, I feel like a man drowning for water, and she is the water.

Well. I am already in love with this series and the Sharpe brothers. What a way to start! I devoured Last Resort in just a few hours because Sutton and Callahan’s chemistry is simply addicting. Kristy told us this series would be even steamier than others and she is not wrong. These two BURN the pages when they are together in the same room. Holy moly, what an amazing couple! I absolutely adored Sutton and Callahan, they just click in a very especial way and it’s impossible to miss their connection from start to finish. I loved seeing them being vulnerable and peeling many of the layers that made their relationship even more beautiful to read. That forbidden chemistry turns into so much more and I just loved seeing this couple get their happy ending.

I just want him. More of him. All of him. Endless amounts of him.

Therefore, I am rating Last Resort with 5 STARS because it’s the perfect start to this brand-new series and make old and new readers fall in love with K. Bromberg’s incredible writing and characters. I love how she keeps giving us steam but without forgetting the importance of being vulnerable and showing emotions. Sutton and Callahan are so good together and I am sure many will love their beautiful love story. Guys, don’t miss this and start the S.I.N series as soon as you can!

The Author

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can’t help to love.

A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow and her mind scattered in too many different directions.

Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now.

With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. You can find out more about him or chat with Kristy on any of her social media accounts. The easiest way to stay up to date on new releases and upcoming novels is to sign up for her newsletter (http://bit.ly/254MWtI) or follow her on Bookbub (http://smarturl.it/KBrombergBB).
