Always You by Samantha Young is NOW LIVE!
Arrochar Adair has loved her brother’s ex-bodyguard and best friend, Mac Galbraith, for years. Once upon a time, she was too young for him, but now that she’s a mature woman in her thirties, Arro can see no issue with their difference in age. Yet something deeper, a problem much more difficult to surmount, is keeping them apart.
Mac Galbraith remembers clearly the night Arro became everything to him, no longer just his best friend and boss’s younger sister. However, having made many mistakes over the years, there is one mistake Mac is determined not to make: to believe that he is worthy of Arrochar Adair. Allowing them to grow closer during his daughter, Robyn’s, return has proven his undoing. And when Arro forces the subject of their relationship, his response pushes her away. He just never meant for it to destroy them completely.
Devastated by Mac’s final rejection, Arro is determined to move on without him in her life, though he seems intent on staying put. And when the Adair family face a new threat, one that may have ties to Mac’s past, Arro can’t seem to be rid of the man. In fact, Mac will do anything to protect her.
But with so much hurt between them, will Arro let Mac close enough to guard her from their enemy… before it’s too late?

Who else has been waiting for Arro and Mac’s story like a crazy person? No, just me? Didn’t think so! Samantha Young has been teasing us about these two from the very start of this series so you can imagine I had crazy high expectations for Always You. And Samantha has definitely delivered. If you were expecting a major slow-burn, age-gap, I-love-you-from-afar romance, you are in for a treat!
So, Always You is the third installment in Young’s Adair Family series and it’s focused on the love story between Arrochar Adair and Mac Galbraith. Arro has loved Mac since she was a teenager, she has loved him from afar for years and now she thinks it’s finally their time to be together. The age difference is not an issue anymore now that she is in her thirties. But Mac still feels he is not deserving of loving the youngest Adair so he keeps hurting her and loving her from afar. But what will happen Arro decides she is giving up and a new threat approaches the Adair family? Will Mac finally accept and show his true feelings for Arro?
I hated it. I hated I wasn’t free to love her. To promise I’d never leave her.
That was some slow-burn, let me tell you! The back and forth between this couple was agonizing but so worth the wait. I loved finally getting to know Arro and Mac’s full stories and how their experiences affect the love story. I am a sucker for longing in romance and Always You doesn’t fail when it comes to that. These two want each other so badly and it takes them a while to finally start their relationship. Yes, I do have to say the back and forth between this couple got on my nerves sometimes, I just wanted them together and it sure takes them a while to get over everything. Which I also understand because it’s not easy for either to fight against past demons and the new challenges ahead. But when finally they act on their intense connection, wow that chemistry! Beautiful, steamy and just so right! I loved Arro and Mac together, so much!
“Any time I get to be with you—a day, a week, a few months—it’ll be worth it. I’d rather have a moment with you than nothing at all. It’ll last me a lifetime.”
“Sometimes you say the most perfect things, Mackennon Galbraith.”
Therefore, I am rating Always You with 4 STARS because Samantha definitely did a wonderful job with this highly anticipated love story that we’ve been waiting for since the very start of the series. Mac and Arro are so good together and, even though they have a lot of obstacles on the way, their relationship was so worth the wait. Yes, I did expect to have more moments of them as a couple because the slow-burn was REAL but still, it was an incredible love story. Any fan of the series will love this new installment, that I can assure you!
