I’ve been a fan of Staci Hart’s work for years and I was definitely sad to see her not writing for a while. But today, I am so very happy to say Staci is BACK in the game, and she is here with and absolute BANG. If you love small-town romance, this woman is one of the best at it and let me tell you, she doesn’t disappoint with her upcoming release, Wild Card. Get ready for this thrilling, steamy ride and get all set to fall in love with this new crew of characters!
So, Wild Card also is the first installment in Staci’s newest series called Roseville Ramblers and it tells the story of Remy Winfield and Jessa Hastings, two polar opposites from two very different worlds who are “forced” to be roommates because Jessa’s best friend and Remy’s cousin Cass is getting married. Mix that with other troupes like sports romance, fake dating, unexpected twists and a WHOLE LOT of steam and you get this gripping love story.
I didn’t just have it bad. I had it brutally. The wanting was eating me up from the inside like a sweet, sweet poison, and I was so obsessed with her I didn’t even care. I’d die happy.
Oh boy, that sure is the way to come back to the book world! Staci is here and she is not playing. Wild Card is definitely her spiciest book and this girl is not complaining. While never leaving her love for small-town romance, Hart dives into new territory with this new series and she definitely delivers. Remy and Jessa are an unstoppable force together, they can’t control their attraction for one another and they just click in a very special way even though they are so different in so many ways. And that intense passion turns into a beautiful love story with much deserved happy ending.
“I offered him carte blanche to end things. Would you like to know what he said?” When Jessa didn’t answer right away, Grace’s lips curled into the smallest smile. “There aren’t enough zeros.”
Therefore, I am so happy to rate this book with 5 STARS because Staci is back at full speed in the romance community and she comes bearing delicious treats. You’ll adore Remy and Jessa, their chemistry, the new characters, the town, the banter, the steam… Just everything! And that twist and teaser at the end? Never saw that coming! It makes me even giddier to get to the next book in this series. So guys, make sure to not miss Wild Card, especially if you love Staci’s writing!
